The Farmers' Market opens for Spring on May 17, 2008!

 

Welcome to the Wharton County Farmers' Market!  Currently our market is open only in Wharton, Texas on Saturday mornings from 9:00am to noon on the newly renovated Courthouse Square.

Our market is a growers-only market, meaning that everything sold is grown and produced locally by the merchant selling it to you. The Wharton County Farmers' Market is an exciting and bountiful place to buy your fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, plants, baked foods, jellies, honey, and hand-made crafts. To get fresher food, you would have to grow it yourself.

Come to the Market and plan to spend the morning there.  We will have cooking demos, children's activities, and local musicians to enhance your morning on the Square. The local merchants are also open for your shopping pleasure.
